Colegio de Dagupan stands out in June 2012 Nursing Exam

Colegio de Dagupan, College of Nursing has once again proved its valor in the June-July 2012 Nurse Licensure Examination that was conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) nationwide. Out of the 60,895 examinees, 27,823 successfully passed the said examination indexing a national passing rate of 45.69%.

The college has produced 85 new registered nurses and merited an overall passing rate of 64.89%. It is far above the national passing rate, ranks first in the province and second in the entire region, next to Mariano Marcos State University, Batac. The college, since it started in June 2003, has continued to churn out several topnotchers and has been consistent in producing high passing percentages which is above the national ratings. It is also of note that Colegio de Dagupan has emerged to be one of the best performing schools since it started, not only in Pangasinan but in the entire Region 1, ditching all the other Nursing schools which have been in the market long before.

Colegio de Dagupan is the Top Performing School in Pangasinan registering an outstanding passing percentage of 64.89 %.

Acclaimed with Colegio de Dagupan’s newly vested Autonomous Status along with its vision to prepare students with the best education, the BS Nursing program is currently in its application for Level 1 Formal Status PACUCOA Accreditation.  It will carry on to adhere to the said forethought and to flicker and stand out in the Nursing academe amidst the dwindling number of Nursing students at present.
