The Cisco Networking Academy Core Council of the Philippines (C3P) starts this year with the Netriders Skills Competition 2011. There are two (2) categories in the competition: Basic Networking Category and Advanced Networking Category. Each Academy can form  two  (2) representing  teams  comprised  of  three  (3)  student  contestants  and  one  (1)  coach  per  team. Cluster elimination rounds were done in designated host Academies.

Colegio de Dagupan is the only local academy here in the province and one of the local academies of Cluster A, which comprises 32 academies from Northern and Central Luzon. Since 2004, CdD has been adopting the CCNA 3.11 program and at present adopts the latest program which is the CCNA 4 Exploration. The Basic Category delegates are Edward Allan V. Menor, Clarisa F. Parayno and Anthony John Taylor with their coach Mr. Christian dela Cruz. The Advance category delegates are Wilson Lloyd Estero, Rex Añonuevo and Jose Marie Español with their coach Engr. Neriza V. Bustillo, who is also the Cisco Legal Main Contact and Curriculum Lead of the Academy.

This is just another achievement that Colegio de Dagupan community must be proud of, despite being new in the event still, we have prove to our competitors that Colegio de Dagupan is technically equipped and incline. Student performance to this Cluster completion emphasize that with further training and exposure to the world of Netcentric we might  see Colegio de Dagupan team in the future competing in the Asia Pacific Skills Competition which is the first and foremost goal of each Cisco Academy.
