Vision

The School of Engineering shall be a center for development of globally-competitive professionals in the field of engineering. It shall spearhead the conduct of relevant researches to push the frontiers of knowledge in engineering and related fields of work..

Mission

The School of Engineering shall undertake various activities to ensure the attainment of its vision as a Center of Development in Region I, along engineering and related fields such as communications, electronics and technological advancement. More specifically, it shall endeavour:

  1. To conduct the teaching-learning process, in a manner that transfer of knowledge, abilities and skills necessary for the practice of engineering and related fields, is carried out effectively.
  2. To conduct researches to push the frontier of knowledge along engineering and other related fields.
  3. To instill values for the desirable practice of engineering and other related fields.
  4. To enhance the preparation of future engineers through state-of-the-art curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular programs and projects

Program Educational Objectives

Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering

  1. To produce highly competent electronic engineers that are able to apply engineering principles and methodologies in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing new, improved, or innovative electronic, computer and communication systems, devices, goods, services and processes.
  2. To produce innovative technical leaders that are able to contribute towards the advancement of electronics and communications technologies.
  3. To produce electronic engineers with a well-developed sense of professional responsibility and social awareness who can work independently or as a part of a group.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering

  1. To produce highly competent electrical engineers that are able to apply engineering principles and methodologies in the design, operation and protection, maintenance and economics of electrical systems with emphasis on ethical values to harness economically and safely the materials and forces of nature for the benefit of the society and the environment.
  2. To develop technical leaders who understand the power systems and related industry needs of the country.
  3. To produce electrical engineers with a well-developed sense of professional responsibility and social awareness who can work independently or as a part of a group.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

  1. To produce computer engineers that are able to apply engineering principles and methodologies in the analysis, design, implementation and management of hardware, software and the integration of both.
  2. To develop highly competent computer engineers, with a well-developed sense of professional responsibility and social awareness and are able to spearhead related ICT industries.
  3. To produce computer engineers who are able to continually equip themselves with the latest technologies; and are able to effectively and efficiently meet scientific, technological and various needs of business, industries and communities in the global economy.
