June 20, 1947 when President Manuel Roxas signed Republic Act 170 officially recognizing Dagupan as a city.

As we celebrate the city's 76th anniversary, the city charter of Dagupan, NSTP students of Universidad de Dagupan organized a clean up drive at Bonuan Tondaligan beach as our way of support in the celebration of the aforementioned.

The said activity is spearheaded by Dr. Feliza Arzadon-Sua, our University President  and one of the Pinabling Pangidayew na Mayor Diamond Awardee of Dagupan City.
